The media experiments and monsters in this blog post were made with various combinations of watercolors, oil pastels and mineral oil.  This is my first time trying out Maped oil pastels.  I like that they are thick and go on very sooth.  I can also appreciate that they are triangular and less likely to roll off the table.  You can see the all of Maped supplies here.
